Beginning in 2010, the founders worked in advertising technology - building AI models to analyze vast data sets, uncover patterns, and understand human behavior. They also witnessed how AI could detect anomalies, make real-time decisions, and automate responses in sub-millisecond timeframes.

In 2018, they founded Abnormal to apply their AI learnings to a greater mission: protecting humans from cybercrime.
